Now you are ready to irrigate. Frequent regular irrigation is the key to Drip Irrigation. You should try to keep a constant moderate level of water in the soil all the time. How many rows you can irrigate depends on how much water you have coming into the system. This is what the pressure gauge is used for.
When using the 420-BV-06 or 550-BV-06, you can open as many rows as you like until the pressure drops below 6 psi. How long you will need to run the system varies on soil type, type of plants, and weather. A good general rule is an hour every day.
