These are Stainless Steel, Fresno Sand Filters for Commercial Filtering in a drip irrigation system.  These systems allow customers to run their drip irrigation system at higher pressures without the worry of damaging the system. Fresno filters add durability and value to your drip system.
Fresno Flow Guard Stainless Steel Media Filters with automatic backflush set the standard for all filters.  These filters clean out contaminates from surface water, such as ponds, because they are the best way to remove biologicals. However they also provide excellent filtration for wells plagued with sand.
Flow Guard filters clean themselves by directing water into the top of the filter and through a bed of sand where the undesirable particulate are captured. Once the water passes through the sand, the cleaned water is directed out of the filter.
 Buying the correct sand is very important! Do NOT use POOL SAND ** Please see below for recommended filter Sand.
