Frequent and consistent irrigation is the benefit of Drip Irrigation. You should try to keep a constant moderate level of water in the soil all the time. How many rows you can irrigate depends on how much water you have coming into the system. This is where the pressure gauge comes in handy. How long you will need to run the system varies on soil type, type of plants, and weather. A good general rule is one hour every day.
