Many farmers have a very valuable asset on the farm that they take for granted and completely ignore. The common farm pond contains that wonderful treasure —WATER! When we team this with Drip Irrigation, it’s the perfect complement for a great growing season!  Sand Filters are important for any drip irrigation systems using pond, stream or lake water. The sand is used to clean the dirty water so it is suitable for drip systems.

Do I really need to spend money on a filter?

Drip tubings are easily clogged without the proper filtration, especially when using dirty water.  Growers should recognize that pond water is a valuable asset that should be protected from contamination from livestock or silt filling in.

Sand Filters

Sand filters, in conjunction with drip irrigation, allow the farmer to provide his crop with regular waterings which are proven to have higher yields than crops depending on rain.   This is a fairly inexpensive way to irrigate.    The filters are simple and have very few moving parts and will  last you many years.

See our 2-Acre Drip Kit!

We have a 2 acre kit that includes the smaller fiberglass Triton filters, pump, mainline, drip tape, fittings, etc that will get a new grower up and running quickly.  Let us help you take the guesswork out of what to order!  Give our sales team a call or email your design and specs to us today for advice and/or an estimate.   You may also wish to visit us here at Berry Hill Irrigation.
