Operation

The compression on the gasket produced by the camming action produces a positive seal that requires that the surfaces on the gasket seat; the adapter face and the gasket are smooth and uncontaminated. Cam arms must be in the fully closed position for proper locking of the coupling. Couplers come with the standard Buna-N gasket and cam arms, rings and pins are by choice.

* Above maximum allowable working pressures are based on operating temperatures less than 100°F. If operating temperatures exceed 100°, use temperature derating factor listed in the table below.
