Hortus™ IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid) is a plant hormone that plays a vital role in promoting root development and improving overall plant health. When used as a rooting stimulant, it helps improve rooting in cuttings, transplants, and tissue culture.
DESCRIPTION:
- Registered with the US EPA for use in greenhouses and nurseries
- Water soluble IBA-No Alcohol required to dissolve
- Easy to use. Measure and mix. Economical to use.
- Can be used by basal dip, and foliar total immerse or spray drip down methods
- Approved Label under WPS for zero-hour Re-entry Interval
KEY BENEFITS:
1. Promotes Robust Rooting: Hortus™ IBA enhances root formation and development, making it especially useful for difficult-to-root species and improving the success rate of propagation.
2. Easy to Use: As a water-soluble salt, Hortus™ IBA is easy to mix and apply, ensuring uniform distribution and reducing the likelihood of errors.
3. Supports Faster Establishment: With enhanced root systems, plants establish themselves more quickly and exhibit stronger growth, which leads to healthier and more productive plants.
4. Suitable for a Wide Range of Applications: Ideal for both commercial growers and hobbyists, it can be used for a variety of crops including ornamental plants, vegetables, and fruit trees.
5. Improved Plant Survival Rates: By promoting better rooting, Hortus™ IBA helps reduce transplant shock, leading to higher survival rates for newly planted crops.
6. Cost-Effective: With its high efficacy and ease of application, Hortus™ IBA is a cost-effective solution for improving plant growth while reducing the need for expensive alternatives.
This rooting hormone uses 20% IBA Water Salts as its medium and contains No Alcohol. Because of this, it is EPA registered for “spray drip down or over the top” safe application to plants in propagation beds. No need to “dip” each individual plant, resulting in huge time and labor savings. Also, may be used on plants as a “quick dip”, “total immersion”, and “basal long soak” method.
